Position: Nuclear Instrumentation and Controls Technician

Job Summary:
The Nuclear Instrumentation and Controls Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of nuclear instrumentation and control systems in a nuclear power plant. The technician will ensure the safe and efficient operation of the plant by maintaining and optimizing instrumentation and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and repairs of nuclear instrumentation and control systems.
2. Conduct preventative maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and accuracy of instruments, control systems, and associated equipment.
3. Inspect and test nuclear instrumentation and control systems to identify and resolve any issues or abnormalities.
4. Collaborate with the operations and maintenance teams to ensure the proper functioning of instrumentation and control systems.
5. Analyze system performance data and provide recommendations for improvements to enhance plant efficiency and safety.
6. Participate in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures, work instructions, and quality control measures.
7. Maintain accurate records and documentation of maintenance activities, including equipment history, test results, and calibration records.
8. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements while performing maintenance and repair tasks.
9. Stay updated with the latest industry standards, technological advancements, and regulatory changes pertaining to nuclear instrumentation and controls.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Associate's degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field. A relevant certification or equivalent work experience may be considered.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing nuclear instrumentation and control systems in a nuclear power plant or a similar complex industrial facility.
